How a young Girl’s Gift Saved My Friend’s Life – The story of a heart transplant

This is a story that I think everyone should hear. My friend, Lynda Sparks, had a massive heart attack a couple of years ago. She is a Mom, Grandmother and has been the loving wife to her husband for over 40 years. This heart attack should have killed, if you believe in statistics, but she miraculously survived. How long she would survive was going to depend on whether she would receive another heart. Her heart was so damaged, that she was not able to sustain life on her own, so she had an LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) placed into her chest to get her by for a while.
